Capsule for the Day

What do you want? Perhaps we can use the first person, "What do I want?" This question is a game-changer. Knowing what I want is the first step to a meaningful and happy life. But it is not enough to know what I want. I have say what I want. I have declare "I want peace. I want joy. I want health."

The next question is why do I want the good things of life. Why do I want health or peace? It is because that is what my being craves. God created me very good. He created me to desire the good. It is only logical that I should want good things. We often miss this Truth about our existence.

But it is the Truth that makes the death of Christ meaningful. He died for us when we were still sinners, He died because He saw more than our sins. He saw the good we want. He saw the good in us that we can’t see because sin. He saw me, you. He saw the good; and He paid the price for it.
