Capsule for the Day

Dawn and dusk, night and day, birth and death, dying and rising these are the patterns of life. Everyday, there is a dying and there is a rising. The Creator made it so. He gives us an opportunity to accept death as part of life. To live is to die. And death is not the end of life, it is the change of life.

To come to terms with these patterns and to appreciate them changes the way we live. It helps us make the best of our given time. For one thing is sure, today will die soon. We will account for the day. The wisdom here is we avoid wasting time on what doesn't matter, we spend it wisely.

Remembering the dead, reflecting on our own mortality, could be confronting for many. But it is the bitter pill the patient needs to take. Death isn't something we can avoid. It is life's change agent. We are all growing towards our own death. Accepting this reality makes us wiser.
