Capsule for the Day

Returning to the question of Isaiah 5:4 "what could I have done for my vineyard that I haven't done?" Another way of looking at the question is "why can't you trust me after all I have done for you". Remember where I have brought you from and all the hurdles you have jumped. Trust me!

Friends, if we look back with the eyes of gratitude, we will definitely find the finger of God in our lives. We will begin to develop a response of trust. We can count on Him. If He could do so and so for me in the past, He will definitely do the same for me in the presence. For He never changes.

Building on this, St. Theresa of Avila said "let nothing worry you. Let nothing disturb you. All things are passing. God never changes. Patience obtains all things. God alone suffices". If God is on your side, who can be against you? All this suggests we have to trust God even in the dark.
