Capsule for the Day

There are three or more things we can learn by being in the airport. The first is life is transitory. People pass through the airport. They aren't there permanently; and so it is with life. We come; we check in; we board and we take off. The clock ticks as we wait to take off. Do we invest the wait-time?

The second is we wait for the take off time because it is worth waiting for. Great things in life are also worth waiting for. Sometimes, like our typical flights there are delays or even cancellations, eventually, the flight or another will be available for our take off. The question is can we wait?

Third, the flight can take off without us. Although we are important, we aren't indispensable. We matter, but others matter too. They, like us, want to take off. Our ticket doesn't give us an entitlement, it only gives us an opportunity. Are we humble enough to comply to the ticket's terms?
