Capsule for the Day

Some days are very interesting. You wake and decide, I will not do X anymore. But as the day grows and the sun shines and dims, you find yourself doing X. It is kind of discouraging. But it happens. You ask yourself at the end of the day "what have I done?" Why did I give in to X again?

Some days are just some days. We all have such days. I have had millions of them. But there aren't all bad days. I like calling them character-building-days. They knock us around and make a man, a woman of us. They are testing days; they humble us but they also reveal our strength.

What sort of strength? The ability to accept we are vulnerable, we can fall and fail. It is a sort of strength that transcends us. Like Paul says, it is when I am weak that God's power is strongest in me. The acceptance of our falls makes us to let go and let God. This is the strength of the wise.
