Capsule for the Day

Jane and Jack got married in 2004, two weeks later, Jack was knocked down by a truck. Peter is a great guy. He loves his faith, hard working, a go getter; but he got fired because he was too expressive of his faith. Linda had prayed for many years for a child, she was blessed with a disable child.

Different people, different stories, but all with one thing in common, trials. No one is inoculated from trials. They come in different shapes and sizes. They come to the just and the unjust, the young and the old. They can break us, but they don't kill us without our permission. They can make us better.

In Romans 8:37, Paul puts it this way, "these are the trials through which we triumph, through the power of Him who loved us". But it is hard to believe He loves us in the heart of our trials. If He loved us, He shouldn't have allowed the trial in the first place. God's love isn't always nice, it is always good.
