Capsule for the Day

Sometimes, "God help me" is all we can say. As a priest, I have found myself many times in this situation. Often, I couldn't  figure out what to do or where to go. I was trapped in the closet of uncertainty. It was all dark. God help me was all I could say. He did help me in each of those times.

We can't afford to run our lives all by ourselves. We can't be too proud to ask God for help. We can't just sit and fold our arms and blame it on God. We have to do something, even if it means to utter those three short words "God help me", we have to do it. For He cares deeply about you.

Scripture is full of many references of God's Fatherly care. "If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!" "Ask", He said, "you shall receive". What else can we do than to ask?
