Capsule for the Day

There is something about falling in love. It changes our perspective. We come to know stuff hitherto we took for granted. Love has its language. It is a language of giving and receiving. "Love also has its own reason which reason itself", according Paschal Blaisè, "can't understand". Love is life.

When we fall in love, three things happen. First, there is joy that knows no bounds; and we want to announce it. We want everybody to know we are in love. It is good news. Second, we literally adore the person we love. He or she is special. Third, we spend time and "listen" to the person we love.

It is amazing when God is the person we fall in love with. Our whole life changes. Prayer becomes more frequent. We treasure whatever He says. We believe Him. We aren't afraid of Him. We joyfully talk about Him, and we come to love who/what He loves. We become one with Him.
