Capsule for the Day

Loneliness is a big worry in today's society. With all the social media, groups and networks, we still record an unusual rate of loneliness. Spouses are lonely even in the presence of their husband or wife. Children are lonely in the midst of their siblings, and many cry of loneliness.

Why are we lonely? What are the causes of loneliness? Gee! We are in for a million dollar question. We can't say for certainty what causes loneliness in each and every one of us, but we can identify some indicators. Obvious among them is the "give me" subculture. "I want...."

When life is all about what we get we can't escape loneliness, because we can never be satisfied with what we are given. And this attitude disconnects us and make us withdrawn to our poor little selves. "Poor me, nobody loves me". Seriously? Have we tried to love without being loved?
