Capsule for the Day

"If only someone would say hello to me, I will not commit suicide". These were the words left behind on a suicide note. The young man had lived his life craving and yearning for human relationship. He just wanted someone who will say hello, how are you today. Someone to affirm him.

Unfortunately, on that fateful day no one said hello to him. Those he greeted were too busy to return his greeting. We live in a really busy world. A world we rarely have time for the person next to us. A world that if you aren't winner you are invisible. A world that has no patience for failure.

There are many people yearning for just hello, how was your day? These are just a few words, but they could be life-saving words. They are words that give life to those who are at the brink of despair. They are words that build bridges and foster a civilization of love. They are words we can say.
