Capsule for the Day

http://www.livelifehappy.com has this on its webpage "when you find something beautiful in someone, tell them. It may take a second to say, but for them, it could last a lifetime". This quote, to a great extent, is an antidote to envy and jealousy. If Cain had read it, he might not have killed Abel.

Envy and jealousy are a set of twins that are blind to the good in others, because they, themselves, are filthy with the dirt of their own negativities. And since they are unable to accept the good in others, all they do is to destroy the others, thinking by so doing, they, themselves, will be better.

Unfortunately, they don't get better. Cain, for instance, became restless and displaced after killing Abel. What a waste and a shame living a life of envy and jealousy! Imagine how beautiful life would have been for Cain if he had accepted and appreciated Abel instead of killing him.
