Capsule for the Day

In the movie "Beyond the lights", Gugu Mbatha-Raw, said "truth is the foundation of every good/healthy relationship". Relationships build on lies or falsehood don't  last. They may look very attractive and wow, but they collapse within a short time just like a building with no foundation.

There is a deep justification theory about not being truthful in a relationship. And many of us buy into this theory. So, we play the game of living a false life and covering up the truth. There is also the fear factor, may be if they know the truth about me, they will not love me anymore.

But the irony of not telling the truth is at the end, the ugly truth surfaces and people come to know us for who we truly are. Unfortunately, at this time, we are defensive and the case doesn't often go in our favour. However, truth told and lived sets us free and saves our relationships.
