Capsule for the Day

"Return to me" is a movie that emphasizes the power of prayer. When all was coming to end for Grace, God initiated a new beginning. It shows how to connect the dots of life looking backward. "Everything works together unto good..." The climax is Marty words to Bob "It is the character that is strongest that God gives the most challenges to". So true!

But there is another way of looking at it. God doesn't tempt us. He doesn't throw challenges at us because He takes pleasure in seeing us suffer. He allows us to go through challenges, temptations because He has confidence in us. God believes in us much more than we believe in ourselves. He knows you and I can face challenges squarely.

We can also look at challenges that come our way as "character building exercises". For even the challenges that break us build us in the long run. Apparently, nothing is wasted, there aren't losses in God's plans. Again, "everything works together unto good." The movie leaves us with PUSH (Pray Until Something Happens). Don't give up!
