Capsule for the Day
"He gives us Grace for every season". Seasons come with their expectations and fears. We prepare for them, but they surprise us. While some summers are without bushfires, others have wild bushfires that claim lives, burn buildings and leave many homeless. The reality is seasons have their "own mind", we can't always predict their outcome.
Metaphorically, life is full of seasons. The fear and expectation often make us panic. How will I cope? What if this season comes with a hurricane? The fear and anxiety at the beginning of a season or even during the season can take its toll on us. But there is joy in knowing we aren't alone in a season. God is with us. He gives us Grace for the season.
The grace for "the season of freezing silence" may be a call from a lost contact that lights up your day. You laugh and forget it was a cold and miserable day. That is Grace. It comes in different sizes and shapes. It can come in the guise of a misfortune. We don't see. But when we look enough and seek the Lord, He shows us the Grace for our season.
