Capsule for the Day

"Happy are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth". Judy is a kind of a character. She isn't one you would take seriously. At work, she isn't seen as the best, somehow, the best often comes her way. She has her troubles, but she is gentle. Her words are soothing. She has a way of saying something without saying it at the same time. She is meek.

After many years of personal struggles, she began to take seriously the Word of God. Now, she can't do or say anything without first praying to God. She lives John 15:7 to the letter: "If you abide in me, and my word abides in you, ask for whatever you want, and it will be done". She asked for the good of earth, she had it. Meekness profitted her.

So, happy indeed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Judy enjoys this promise to the full. She has a good marriage which she has sustained with her meekness. She has great kids, husband etc. Above all, she is at peace with herself, those around her and with God. God wants us to inherit the earth, to enjoy it, but we have to be meek, gentle.
